Romans 8:37, ESV:
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”
His death tore the curtain,
Hope disappeared into the tomb.
The future stood uncertain,
An atmosphere of doom.
It was foretold he is the Messiah,
Death clouded their minds.
They spiraled into amnesia,
Hope lost in the day’s grinds.
Anguish cries, deep sigh,
Not knowing, he turned the tide.
He was dead, now alive.
Invites us for an adventurous ride.
If you believe in this fight,
The power of Satan –
Is conquered by Light,
Then live, love, and pass the baton.
He turned the tide,
When the tomb was empty.
The door to heaven made wide,
Offers us blessings aplenty.
Easter and pandemic,
What make out of these?
Let his love go epidemic,
Like strong wind, and also gentle breeze.
There’s never a better script,
Than the Easter story;
For the world so ripped
By diseases and news so gory.
No vaccine, or true cure,
To make us stronger?
Only by his love so pure,
We live and conquer!
Nothing separates us from the love of God. Paul tells us in the preceding verses of Roman 8:37. Love is a powerful factor that binds all things and people together. Through his love, we are made more than conquerors! Meditate on this Love, Jesus Christ himself – the Passover Lamb.
“Father God, thank you for this Love. I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus! Amen.”
