Romans 8:19-21 (NIV)
19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who
subjected it, in hope 21 that[a] the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.
Arise, warriors! Arise! The Commander in Chief pursues us relentlessly. He knew us from the beginning. He knows our potential because he is our Creator. He is calling forth his mighty troop. Even, the creation anticipates it. Where are you?
We must come out from our hiding. No matter how imperfect we are, the manifestation of God’s glory can only be displayed through the renewal of his children. The time is ripe. In fact, overdue.
The ill society awaits eagerly for true freedom, which we have been divinely appointed to carry this hope. The world didn’t willfully ask for the deterioration but we’ve slipped into a cycle of regression and bamboozled in the process of decay. This pandemic exposes our human frailty, idiocy, infirmity, despondency, disunity and fatality. The Creator acquiesce this to yield his purpose of deliverance.
To “wait in eager expectation” – In Greek, αποκαραδοκία apokaradokia. This same word occurs only here and in Philippians 1:20, “According to my earnest expectation and my hope,”. This is an image of a heightened concern that we are looking out for something. Mankind is sneaking his head out for a hopeful future.
You and I must rise up to our highest potential to be carriers of the revelation of that hope in Christ Jesus. The world is waiting…
Hide no more, children of God! Walk in the Light and lead the lost children home.
“Father of Light, empower us to walk boldly in your love and light. Let us shine in the dark roads to clear confusion and frustration and lead the lost children back to you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
